my approach

For me, photography started off as a way to document my life and the ones in it.  If you walk through the doors of our home, the walls are filled with unscripted moments.  Our loves.  Our memories.  Our laughters.  They are who we are.

And so, I have blended my personal style and life approach into my work.  Photography to me is about creating something special.  I want you to love your images.  I want you to want to hang them on your walls.  I want you to to smile everytime you catch a glimpse at them.  I want you to have the reaction of ”that is so us”.  Your session should be about you.  I want to mirror your personalities and joys into your images.  Let’s be relaxed and casual.  Life is unscripted.  I like to hear about your passions.  Your stories.  Your love for one another.  I like to able to laugh with you.  Our time together isn’t based on an hourglass.  I say when enough giggles have been had and expressions have been captured.

I shoot on-location and use natural light whenever possible.  Life happens all year. Memories happen every day.

…and bundled up faces in the winter

Let’s go to your favorite park, coffee shop or field.  Maybe your living room is your someplace “comfy”.  In the winter let’s go sledding and build a snowman.  Let’s make sandcastles and fly kites in the summer.  The options are endless.
